    Opening Day
    On July 25, 1970, the largest children's center in the East opened in Namsan, Seoul.

    The building has one basement floor and 18 floors above the ground, with a total construction cost of 600 million won at that time.

    Inside the building is a gymnasium, a swimming pool, a dance room, and a library with 11,000 books.

    Namsan Children's Center was transferred to the National Library of Korea in 1974 and moved to a new center in Neung-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul in 1975.

    Even now, the Namsan branch of the Seoul Science Exhibition Center is continuing its reputation.

    Unveiling day
    On August 23, 1969, the unveiling ceremony of the statue of Baekbeom Kim Koo, the president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, was held at Namsan Outdoor Concert Hall Square in Seoul.

    It was Kim Gu's lunar birthday (August 29, 1876 – June 26, 1949) .

    The statue was erected to commemorate Kim Koo's righteousness in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the memorial service, and was made with donations from all walks of life, including overseas Koreans.

    Opening Day
    On October 17, 1973, the National Theater of Korea (currently the National Theater of Korea) was opened in Jangchung-dong, Seoul.

    The Grand Theater of the new National Theater, which was built at the foot of Namsan Mountain, was a state-of-the-art art theater with facilities such as revolving stage and moving stage.

    As the first performance to commemorate its opening, 'Sungwoong Yi Sun-shin' was performed.

    The National Theater of Korea is the first national theater in Asia, founded in 1950.

    It is operated for the purpose of creative development of national art and improving the cultural welfare of the people, and has the National Changgeuk Company, the National Dance Company, and the National Gugak Orchestra.

    Registration date
    Namdaemun Market, which started in 1414 when the Joseon Dynasty was the 14th year of King Taejong's reign, was established by the Namdaemun Market Merchants Association after Korea's liberation from Japan's colonial rule, and has been in the form of a corporation jointly invested by building owners and merchants in 1964, boasting a history of more than 600 years.

    The average number of visitors to Namdaemun Market, which has a traditional appearance, present and overflowing vitality, reaches 300,000 a day, with some 10,000 stores starting from Sungnyemun Gate.

    Geographically, it is the most popular attraction for foreigners visiting Seoul as it is located near major buildings in Seoul, including Shinsegae Department Store and the Bank of Korea, as well as tourist attractions such as Jeongdong-gil, Myeong-dong, Namsan Tower, and Namsan Hanok Village.

    The Freedom Center, designed by architect Kim Soo-geun (February 20, 1931 to June 14, 1986,) was decided to be established at the 1962 Asian Anti-Communist Federation Provisional Assembly to prevent communist aggression against free Asian countries and to protect peace and security.

    The main building of the Freedom Center, a large convention center, Seoul Club, a social club for high-ranking people, and Tower Hotel, a hotel for foreigners, were established here.

    It is the first government-run building and represents Korea in the 1960s.

    completion date
    On December 14, 1972, Namsan Foreign Apartment, the first high-rise apartment (17 stories) in Korea, was completed.

    The apartment, which blocked Namsan Mountain, was destroyed and destroyed in November 1994 as part of a project to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

    Opening Date
    Namsan Cable Car is a cable car section that runs between the platform in Hoehyeon-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul and the platform near the top of Namsan Mountain in Yejang-dong, Seoul.

    It is Korea's first passenger cable car, which started operation on May 12, 1962, and is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Seoul.
