    Bomb throwing day
The Hongkou Park incident occurred on April 29, 1932, when independence activist Yun Bong-gil threw a bomb at Hongkou Park in Shanghai, China, killing or injuring key figures in the Japanese Empire.

This began to be reported around the world, and major newspapers around the world surprised the world by reporting it extensively on the front page.

At the time of the first report, it was mostly recognized as an anti-Japanese struggle or Japanese revolutionary activity caused by Chinese, but the following day, it was revealed that it was an anti-Japanese movement by Korean youth Yoon Bong-gil.

Patriot Yoon Bong-gil (21 June 1908 – 19 December 1932) who had already entered the rural enlightenment movement at the age of 19 opened a night school to fight illiteracy and promote national consciousness, including Hangeul education.

However, recognizing the limitations that the Enlightenment Movement alone cannot achieve independence, he is seeking asylum in China.

Patriot Yoon, who met Baekbeom Kim Gu there, agreed to join the Korean Patriotic Corps and plan to live in Honggu Park with Kim Gu.
