On December 1, 1988, the 'Yoon Bong-gil Memorial Hall' was completed at Yangjae Citizens' Forest Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

This memorial hall was built to mark the 55th anniversary of the death of Yun Bong-gil.

On a 2,000-pyeong plot of land, there is an exhibition room for artifacts, galleries, and video exhibition rooms with one basement floor and three ground floors.

Yoon Bong-gil was born in 1908 in South Chungcheong Province as the son of a poor farmer.

His real name is Wu Ui, his pen name is Maeheon, and Bonggil is his nickname.

Doctor Yoon Bong-gil ended his short life on December 19, 1932, when he walked the single path of the independence movement after injecting a bomb into Shanghai Park.
