american social activist He is a holy figure who overcame obstacles and worked in various fields, including human rights activists and socialists.

He visited Korea in 1937 when he was in Japanese colonial era, and when a train bound for Pyongyang stopped briefly in Kaesong after a lecture in Seoul (then Gyeongseong), he did not miss the time. 
He also visited Daegu. After that, I visited Korea during the Korean War.
