Korean Air produced F-5F, the first domestic fighter jet in Korean history.
Following the launching ceremony on September 9, the pilot flight was handed over to the Air Force, raising the curtain of the era of domestic fighter jets.
The ceremony was attended by President Chun Doo-hwan, Defense Minister Yoon Sung-min, high-ranking military generals, National Assembly Defense and Commerce Committee members, and foreigners in Korea, including U.S. Ambassador to Korea Walker.
It named the Korean fighter 'Jegong-ho'.
