Operation Chromite was a landing operation led by Douglas MacArthur, commander of the UN forces, on September 15, 1950, when the Korean War was in full swing.

The operation involved more than 75,000 troops and 261 naval vessels.

In two weeks, the UN forces will occupy Seoul.The code name of the operation was Operation Chromite.
